Common Questions

Deciding whether treatment is right for you or someone you love, comes with a lot of questions. We've answered the most common ones below, grouped by topic.

Yes, Littledale is staffed 24 hours a day by a multi-disciplinary team including treatment practitioners, counsellors and support workers, with access to local GP services.

Admissions & referrals

It starts with a call to our admissions team, who will arrange an assessment. Assessment is a two-way process – you’re deciding whether Littledale is right for you as much as we’re assessing whether we can meet your needs.

Yes. If you’re funding treatment yourself (or with support from family, an employer or an insurer), contact us directly. If you’re seeking local authority funding, speak to your key worker about a referral.

You’ll spend around an hour with our admissions co-ordinator, then have a chance to look around the Hall and ask questions. You’ll be encouraged to take a few days to think it over.

Leaving Littledale

Everyone completing treatment can access our voluntary Aftercare service – recovery groups, 1:1 support and a peer network that continues beyond your stay.

They’re referred back to their funding authority with relevant information, though the Aftercare service is only available to those who complete their programme.
